Rayne Alarcio (he/they) is a poet, media artist, and educator committed to supporting emerging writers through mentorship, literary programming, and creative writing instruction.
Their teaching emphasizes craft, revision, publication strategy, and helping young writers build confidence in their creative work. Rayne mentors students through WriteGirl, works as a writing tutor with Guo Consulting, previously served as a mentor with The Incandescent Review, and was a Teaching Assistant in creative writing at Kalamazoo College.

Student Achievements
Rayne's mentees have earned national recognition for their writing, including multiple Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Gold Keys. Former mentees have gone on to earn acceptance at institutions including Kenyon College, Bard College, and Emory University, receive the S. Georgia Nugent Creative Writing Scholarship at Kenyon College, and participate in fully funded creative writing opportunities such as Interlochen Academy for the Arts.
